PAP Accounts

Executive Summary

PAP Accounts is the setup list of pre-authorized payment (PAP) banking accounts used when payment files are produced for a bank. Administrators add and edit each account's name, bank file format (system type), next file control number and the bank-specific identifiers that format requires. Where permitted, the page settings also hold the Frontstream credentials for the tenant.

Key Features

  • Maintain the PAP accounts used by payment batch and submission workflows
  • Choose a System Type so that only the fields needed for that bank format are shown
  • Track the Next File Control Number for each account
  • Enter originator, returned-transaction and settlement account details for the bank formats that need them
  • Maintain Frontstream credentials and test mode in the page settings (when permitted)

Typical Workflow

  1. Review the existing accounts in the grid.
  2. Click Add to create an account, or click the edit icon on a row (or right-click the row and choose edit) to change one.
  3. Enter File As, pick the System Type, then fill in the fields that appear for that type.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Open Edit Settings (when permitted) if the Frontstream credentials need to be maintained.

Configurable Settings

Open View Settings or Edit Settings from this screen (when permitted) to change these options. Without the edit permission the fields are read-only.
