PCA Activities

Executive Summary

PCA Activities is the maintenance screen for the list of personal care activities that are used on PCA forms. Administrators add, rename and delete activities, and for each activity they maintain the list of interventions that can be recorded against it. The same screen also holds the PCA agency options (agency name and contact details, form-signing link, and the AlayaCare tags and custom-field values used when PCA forms are produced) when the user has permission to see them.

Key Features

  • Add a new PCA activity by name
  • Rename an activity from its detail page
  • Delete an activity after confirmation
  • Maintain the interventions listed under each activity (add, edit, delete)
  • View or edit the PCA agency options used by PCA forms (when permitted)

Typical Workflow

  1. Open PCA Activities. The list of activities is shown.
  2. Click Add, type the activity Name, and click Save.
  3. To maintain the interventions for an activity, click the edit icon on its row (or right-click the row and choose Edit). The activity detail page opens.
  4. On the Interventions tab, click Add to create an intervention, or use the row buttons or right-click menu to edit or delete one.
  5. To rename the activity, click Change Activity Name, change the Name and click Save. Use the back link in the page title to return to the list.
