Diet Classifications

Executive Summary

Diet Classifications is a setup list of the dietary categories (for example Diabetic or Low Sodium) used by the meal programs. Each classification has a short code, a description, and an Order Sheet Column number that decides which column of the meal order sheet the classification is reported in. Administrators add, edit and delete classifications here. The list is maintained inside the integration only; nothing on this screen is sent to AlayaCare.

Key Features

  • Add, edit and delete diet classifications
  • Each classification is assigned a unique order sheet column between 1 and 20
  • A classification cannot be deleted while a tag is using it
  • Filter by code or description
  • Export the list to Excel

Typical Workflow

  1. Click Add.
  2. Enter a Code and Description, choose an Order Sheet Column not used by another classification, and click Save.
  3. To change a classification, click the edit icon (or right-click a row and choose Edit). The code cannot be changed on an existing classification.
  4. To remove one, click the delete icon (or right-click and choose Delete) and confirm.
